Fly via Sansa or Nature Air to Tambor Airport from San Jose (approx $70 one way). Rent a car from Budget, which has an office in Tambor, and also one
in Malpais (Playa Carmen). From Tambor, drive towards Cobano (15 min). About halfway to Cobano, you'll see a road to the left, and on that corner is a massive Guanacaste tree. Turn left there, and drive 5 minutes more to the site. If it's in the rainy season, starting around July, this road is impassable, and you'll have to drive to Cobano first. From Cobano, drive towards Montezuma, and at Escuela Mundo Lindo turn left on the Pura Vida Road, and drive about 5 minutes to Pura Vida Sunsets.
Driving from Montezuma - go up the hill 3-4 minutes towards Cobano and turn right at the small school (Mundo Lindo) on the "pura vida road". Drive another 3-4 minutes along this road until you get to Pura Vida Sunsets, which is on the left.
